By structuring her startup under a nonprofit umbrella, she’s been able to take more risks up front and explore an abundance of funding opportunities that wouldn’t be as readily available to a for-profit company. With partnership opportunities, an incredible board of directors, and a unique value proposition for restaurants, Crystal has helped create a pathway to make systemic change in reuse culture by making the first step in this behavioral change accessible.
